A desktop computer from the 1990s appears. Text on the monitor reads:
“Your website deserves better.”
Now, a modern flatscreen monitor fades in, displaying the Walden Mutual Bank website. Text above reads:
“Graceful Web Studio Makes it Better.”
A green background appears with the title:
“Walden Mutual Bank.”
Text updates to read:
“Powered by Client First for clean CSS.”
The Client First logo is displayed below.

The tablet fades, and a single hand holding a mobile phone appears. The phone displays a webpage with profile pictures of Walden Mutual Bank employees.
A new phone spins into view with the heading:
“Interactive.”
On the screen is the “Calculate the Impact of Your Dollars” page, featuring a dynamic slider bar that updates the text content as it moves from one dollar sign to three.
A green background appears with the title:
“Accessible by Design.”
A professional headshot of a woman appears. She is caucasian, blonde, blue-eyed, wearing a maroon collared shirt, and offering a faint smile. Text below reads:

A vertical gradient border frames the screen with repeating script text: “Graceful Web Studio.”
A laptop zooms into view displaying a Walden Mutual Bank webpage with financial tables. Text above and below reads:
“Forms Tables and Menus Always Accessible.”
The screen refreshes to show another page with a rotating carousel. Text above and below reads:
“Carousels That Comply Designs That Deliver.”
Now a flatscreen monitor displays a webpage with text on the left and video players on the right. Text reads:
“Webflow Custom CMS Control Your Content.”
The Webflow logo is included.
Hands holding a landscape tablet appear, displaying a testimonial from Joe York at Walden Mutual Bank. Text above reads:
“Customers Love Us!”
The tablet fades away and the gradient border with the Graceful Web Studio script font returns. In the center, these phrases appear in sequence:
- “Website Development & Design”
- “Accessibility Remediation”
- “Strategic Partnership”
- A green banner follows, reading:
“Visit gracefulwebstudio.com”
The video fades to black, and the Graceful Web Studio logo flickers onto the screen.

Shake Dem Paws
Full Digital Setup for Dog Training Startup
Challenge
Shake Dem Paws was a brand-new startup with no website, domain, or booking system in place. The owner did not have a professional email, an online presence, or a way for clients to schedule group sessions. This made it difficult to manage and grow the business effectively.
Solution

I designed a joyful, accessible one-page website in Webflow with a custom color palette, polished graphics, and clear calls to action. Every detail, from the layout to form accessibility, was created to reflect the brand’s friendly spirit and support business growth.

The Ladies of Hope Ministries
Nonprofit Website Maintenance & Webflow Rebuild
Challenge
The LOHM hired me to manage their WordPress website, needing a reliable expert to handle updates, build landing pages, maintain brand consistency, and develop a login system for their Grow with Google learning program. However, ongoing security risks, accessibility issues, and the rigid Beaver Builder theme have made updates increasingly difficult, limiting their ability to scale.
Solution
In 2025, I am rebuilding their website in Webflow, creating a custom CMS architecture with built-in SEO, accessibility, and structured content collections to support their extensive audience. This Webflow solution will provide a secure, scalable, and user-friendly experience, allowing The LOHM to maintain and grow their digital presence without the constraints of WordPress.

The Lohm Global Speakers Bureau
Scalable & Branded Webflow Website with Complex CMS
Challenge
The LOHM was relying on a third-party platform that cost them hundreds of dollars each month while offering limited control over branding, design, and speaker profiles. The platform’s restrictions made it difficult to maintain and update content, preventing them from fully showcasing their speakers in a way that aligned with their mission.
Solution
Built a custom Webflow website designed to be fully on-brand, with a complex CMS structure that makes it easy for me or any non-technical team member to update speaker profiles effortlessly. This solution eliminates unnecessary costs, provides full creative control, and ensures a scalable, professional platform to highlight The LOHM Global Speakers Bureau.

Accessibility Book Club
A Web Platform for Inclusive Reading & Community
Challenge
Founded in 2024, the Accessibility Book Club began with an annual reading list shared on LinkedIn—but needed a centralized website to organize its growing library of books, provide details about each title (including formats, author bios, and purchase links), and foster a more engaged community. The goal was to create a space not just for showcasing books, but also for blog posts, reflections, accessibility insights, and event coordination.
Solution
Crystal Scott, Founder of both the Accessibility Book Club and Graceful Web Studio, designed and developed a fully WCAG 2.2 AA conformant website using the Webflow platform. The site was built to reflect the club’s values of inclusion and access, allowing members and non-members alike to browse the current book list, read detailed book pages, explore blog content, and easily get in touch. A dynamic events page was added so users can discover upcoming club meetings and special author Q&A sessions. The result is a welcoming, structured, and accessible digital home for a growing community of readers committed to inclusive design.

HHMI Biointeractive
Strategic Accessibility Partner for Design Integration
Challenge
HHMI BioInteractive needed an accessibility expert to support their internal design team with accessibility annotations during the design phase. Without this strategic guidance, accessibility issues were being introduced early in the design process—only being caught later in development, resulting in rework and inconsistent outcomes. They lacked a systematized way to ensure their pedagogical goals were met through accessible design from the start.
Solution
Crystal Scott, CEO of Graceful Web Studio, was brought on as a strategic accessibility and website development partner. We’re currently building a robust internal Accessibility Annotation Repository—a dedicated internal website mapping all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria to actionable guidance for designers, auditors, and developers. The platform includes reusable annotation snippets to support consistent, born-accessible design practices directly within Figma. In 2025, we expanded our partnership to begin building a full design system that integrates directly with the annotation repository, working closely with their design team to support the creation of interactive, accessible educational materials for students.

Solution

The site features structured CMS collections, accessible forms, and an intuitive user experience, making it simple for visitors to engage with the organization, explore services, and take action.
