When Alongside ABA launched as a brand-new company, they knew their website had to reflect their mission for inclusion from day one. Their goals were ambitious: a fully accessible, modern Webflow site that met WCAG 2.2 AA standards, showcased their brand identity, and featured a seamless way to manage and display job listings without endless manual updates.
They partnered with designer Michael Ponton, who crafted beautiful brand-aligned mockups in Figma. Once the designs were ready, Alongside ABA brought in Graceful Web Studio for accessibility-focused Webflow development.
The Challenge
Job listings were a top priority. The client needed a careers page that pulled positions directly from Paylocity — automatically. That meant no more constant manual edits or copy-pasting job descriptions.
I built a complex but powerful Make.com API integration:
- Pulled new job listings from Paylocity into the Webflow CMS.
- Cross-checked existing CMS entries against Paylocity listings.
- Archived jobs that were no longer active, keeping everything accurate and up to date.
The result? A fully automated hiring pipeline, directly connected to their Webflow CMS.

Accessible Components We’re Proud Of
- Career Pathway Tabs: A tab panel lets users toggle between experience-based and credential-based job growth pathways. Inside each panel, I embedded an accessible dialog to help visitors decide the best fit.
- Accessible Carousels: Using SwiperJS, I built carousels with proper ARIA roles, keyboard support, screen reader announcements, and smooth transitions. These appear on the careers page, homepage, and testimonials section.
- Scrolling Marquees: Fully WCAG-conformant marquees showcase logos, photo galleries, and highlight content, complete with accessible region names, alt text, and pause/play controls.
- Complex CMS Architecture: Events, press releases, and blog resources are all organized into robust CMS collections with search, filtering, and pagination powered by Finsweet tools.

Testing & Polish
I thoroughly tested the site across Safari, Firefox, Chrome, iPhones, Android devices, and with NVDA and VoiceOver screen readers. To finish, I added micro-interactions and subtle page transitions for a polished, modern feel.

The Result
Alongside ABA now has a scalable, branded, and WCAG 2.2 AA-conformant website that looks beautiful, functions flawlessly, and automates their job listings. Their careers page is not just visually impressive — it’s user-friendly, inclusive, and future-ready.
